How many inquiries can you have in a six month period
Generally, too many inquiries on your credit report can cause the score to deteriorate. This is because lenders tend to view each inquiry as potential new credit established. As a result, debt - income ratios become an unknown until the inquiries result in a new account. Actually we can differentiate 2 types of inquiries that will show on your credit report. When you apply for a mortgage, auto loan or other credit, you authorize the lender to request a copy of your credit report. These types of inquiries, prompted by your own actions, appear on your credit report and are included in your credit score! Any of these sources requires your authorization in writing to be allowed to run your credit. Your own credit report requests, credit inquiries by businesses to offer you goods or services, or inquiries made by businesses with whom you already have a credit account do not count toward your credit score. Credit checks by prospective employers also do not count. These types of inquiries may appear on your credit report, but they are not included in your credit score. Authorization is not required for these creditors to access your credit profile. Thus, if you`re monitoring your credit score to apply for bank credit card, which you`re most likely to qualify for, it won`t hurt your credit score.

i have ok credit but need a credit card for any emergencywith low interest rate and no hiddin fees
When applying for bank credit card, there are several things to consider to avoid regretting in your choice because of high hidden fees. The APR (annual percentage rate) is an obvious consideration, but fees can be astronomical with some cards and should be given some serious review. Each card has their own billing structure and they can call these fees any number of different things: participation fee, monthly service charge, over limit fee, phone payment fee, late fee, annual membership fee etc. These fees also eat up your credit limit and you will be charged over limit fees if their fees take you over the limit. Many of these fees can be avoided by being on time and paying by check or online. Making phone payments, going over the limit, or being late will cost you significantly. So look carefully at the list of fees and monthly charges before accepting a credit card offer. If your credit score allows you, you`re free to regard low rate credit cards and apply for one you like!

Could you please help me to find a card with promotional 0% apr and with NO BALANCE TRANSFER FEE?
If your credit is good-to-excellent, you can easily find a credit card with the required features, namely, intro 0% APR and no fees for balance transfer operation. Regard our balance transfer credit cards and pay your attention to Discover Platinum credit card, offering 0% APR on balance transfer and for purchases within 12 months' intro period, and no fee for balance transfer. This card also ensures 5% cash back at gas stations, restaurants, department stores etc. and requires no annual fee. You can also consider some of the CitiBank credit cards, providing balance transfer option, intro 0% APR and demanding no fees.

Can someone without a bank account get a credit card?
A bank account may be required if you have no credit history or a bad credit history. So you will need to secure a credit card with a deposit in the bank (the card is called a secured credit card). However, if your credit history is good or excellent and probably you have had a bank account and closed it, you won't need opening it. Then you can choose a credit card to your liking - from cash back credit cards to students cards and business credit cards. You can also apply online and get an instant approval. Be careful and choose only credit cards you are eligible for. To know whether you are, check your credit report.

Can i make a payment online?
If your credit card includes such an option, then online payment is really possible. To find it out look through the terms and conditions of your card, where such kind of information is usually pointed out. If this function is available, you can go to the official site of your bank, register there and fill out a given form, which makes the money be sent to your account. You can choose another variant, which is also possible: check up your balance at the official site of your bank. Unfortunately, you are not able to do this at our site, as we have no access to your credit card accounts or your personal information.

i have been approved how do i transfer balances from card to the other
In fact, to transfer balances to the other credit card, you should call the bank and ask them to do it. But before you transfer balances to a credit card, read the fine print, otherwise, you could end up paying fees and a much higher interest rate than you expected. You should as well learn about late fees and over-the-limit fees, how long the introductory rate lasts, if a credit card has an annual fee. You’d better also ask if there are balance-transfer fees (some issuers charge transaction fees as high as 4 percent. So the higher that balance, the higher the transaction fee. A 4 percent fee on a $5,000 balance would cost $200). If you are comfortable with the terms of the offer, be sure to fill out the balance transfer form carefully. Incomplete information may halt or delay a transfer. It's also a good idea to make the minimum payment on the old card while waiting for the balance transfer to take effect - which may take from two to four weeks. The new card company may send a notice saying the balance transfer is complete. Be sure to call the old card company and verify this. Write down the name of the person you talked to, the date, the time and what was said. To avoid any mix-ups, we urge you to wait until the old credit card company sends you a billing statement with a zero balance. If the company doesn't send one, request it. Then cancel the old card - you don't need it. We can recommend you to have credit cards by Bank of America, since these are the best cards to get for balance transfers.

616 is an average of all 3 fico scores. I need to get a unsecured credit card. I also have two tax liens already calculated in the score. How can I get a unsecured credit card? I scared to death of getting the wrong card.

is there any card for me in canada for bad credit
No, unfortunately we don't carry such cards. Nevertheless, we cater for credit card deals for Canadians, but these credit cards are intended only for people with good or excellent credit card history. If you want to rebuild your credit, you can ask your friend or relative to become your co-signer. In this respect, he or she applies online for one of our Canadian credit card offers, signs you up as a co-borrower and you’ll be able to pay off the credit on more beneficial terms, and accumulate credit points, but he/she is responsible for this credit as well. We can as well recommend you to apply to your local banks and to get a credit card in accordance with your credit card history and your credit score.

SEEMS LIKE I CAN NOT GET A CREDIT CARD, MY CREDIT IS BAD AND I DO NOT HAVE A BANK ACCOUNT. AND I AM LOOKING FOR A CARD THAT WILL APPROVE ME WITHOUT HAVING ME TO SEND THEM MONEY FIRST.
You are facing a bad credit history, so you need to choose a credit card accordingly. Our free online resource provides you with most comprehensive and objective information on the best credit card offers for all credit ratings and credit consumer categories and Bad Credit Credit Cards are not an exception. The type of credit card you are talking about is represented by unsecured credit cards for bad credit that do not require you to make a beforehand money deposit to be approved. But such credit cards usually charge you higher fees and less attractive rates as compared to secured credit card offers. Thus, before you apply online for an unsecured credit card for bad credit, pay special attention to its terms and conditions to see if you can accept them or not. If your bad credit does not allow you to have a definite credit card, do not apply for it as a denial would hurt your credit rating even more.

hello. i am wondering if it brings down your credit to transfer 3000.00 from one card (10.9%) to a new card with a 1yr no interest and 8.9% after that. (i already looked for hidden fees and understand the disclosure) its been a while since i applied for a card and was wondering if they do not give me the 8.9% do i have to still have to sign up? ( i am currently in the 680 range for credit) i just want to do what will keep my score up and give me the best rate. thank you for your help.
Your credit score (680) defines your credit history as good. In fact, most of Balance transfer credit card offers allow instant online credit card approval for good credit rating. But remember, that whenever you make a balance transfer from one credit card to another, it inevitably hurts your credit score to a slight extent. If you applied online for a credit card with balance transfers and still have not got a response, then maybe you are not approved for this particular credit card offer or there must have been a mistake in the verification process. Try applying once again but before that, pay close attention to terms amd conditions to see whether or not you qualify for this credit card.
