my bank ststment shows to credit cards that took $159.00 a peace out of my account.i can\'t find out who they are .there names that are listed on my statment are as follows sterl and accia.can you help me contact these people.or tell me how to find them?
You are likely to have faced identity theft, as you do not remember you had to pay this money to those people, so you should turn to the bank. It is very possible you won't be able to find the people and return the money, but you should take measures to protect yourself. And your bank should help you in it. Usually the bank contacts the noted companies or institutions and requests copies of bills or something like it. You can find them on your own, but it will be much more difficult. After that you should contact credit bureaus and report of identity theft, so that your credit history will be "frozen" for some period of time and some other measures will be taken.

Which banks use transunion as their primary credit bureau?Jeff
It's not a kind of information that is widely available. If you are interested in some bank, you can call there and ask them about it. There are also sites and forums where this can be disclosed. But you should keep in mind that it is important to have reports of all credit bureaus equal - that is they should coincide, so you won't have to worry about them. Call all credit bureaus and put your credit reports in order, removing the wrong items and adding the missing ones.

I received an acceptance card in the mail with an acceptance code on it. It says to be sure and have it ready when applying online. I dont see where to enter that code...so Im not sure if I am in the right place. Where and when am I supposed to be promoted for the code?
You can either be redirected to the page for activation when you start applying for the credit card, or there could have been the address of it in the letter you received with the code. If you still can't understand how to activate your card, call your bank for instructions. Or, it may so happen that the valid term of this credit card offer has expired, so you can't find the way to activate the card. Anyway, apply to the bank issuer of the credit card.

I have not had credit in a number of years. I work for Attorney's as a Senior Legal Analyst and make enough money so as not to be required to go into debt. I live in a small town -about 30 miles outside of Knoxville, Tennessee. If I need to make payments we just work out the terms of "paying in house" -otherwise I use my 'Visa Debit Card. " However, I have been told that I need to start establishing credit. Can anyone call me at XXX so I can discuss with them why I am seeking credit and have explained to me what kind of processes I have to go through in order to obtain a credit card? Thank you
Sorry, we do not provide a customer service by phone. So I can only answer your question in the written form. To establish credit, you can study the credit card offers for no credit or secured credit cards and choose one. What for? I do not know who told you to start credit, but actually if you will ever decide to change the workplace or you will need to take credit, you will probably have problems, especially with applying for a credit. It is really important today to have credit history, though some people do not ever use credit cards or take loans. Credit cards, when they are for good credit, can give you a lot of benefits, but you should work for several years on your credit rating to make it high.

how do i activate my card. i have my approval leter
In the approval letter you have received there should be a telephone number or a web address to which you should go and activate you credit card. usually the activation code is dictated over the telephone, or you get registered at the web-site and after you are redirected to the proper page, you enter the necessary information and your credit card is activated. If you still can't understand how to activate your credit card, call the bank and ask them or try to find it at the official site of your bank.

i need a phone number to ask a question about my bill what is that number
Our site collects descriptions of current credit card offers of the leading banks and helps the customers to make their choice and apply for a credit card online. But we are not provided by any contact information of the banks presented at our site. besides, we have no access to your checking or credit accounts and personal information of yours. So the only thing you can do is to find the bank's official site in the Internet and see the number there, or there is probably online customer service. You can also click the limk by any credit card by your bank presented at our site, to be redirected to the official site of this bank.

Hi. Can i aply for credit card even though i am in usa for 9 month on visa work h2b with great possibilities to come back soon?
Actually, you can apply for a credit card only if you have US social security number. Or if you a citizen of Canada, UK or Belgium. But mind it that the bank will want to gather all possible information about you, and the less credibility you will presnt for them, the less possibility for you to be approved for a credit card. Besides, if you are going to come back to your country, why do you need an American credit card?

why i havent heard any thing on my aprovel bestman@comcast.net
If you applied for a credit card and haven't received any response yet, you either are denied, or gave a wrong address to the bank, or there are some technical problems. You can call the bank and verify your approval. There are credit cards, though, that provide instant approval, that is you can receive a response within an hour, if your credit history meets the requirements for this credit card offer.

I have recently recieved information stating that i was approved for a credit card with ameritrust financial and it was a 2000 dollar limit but they needed 200 dollars from my checkings account I do not wish that they take money out of my account at this time I wish to withdraw and go through with this process for the credit cadr at a later date can you please help me
Usually, if you receive a pre-approval letter that means your credit history is eligible for certain set of terms of a credit card. And you are offered this credit card with these terms and charges. To change the terms and conditions of the credit card you should improve your credit history, which is impossible to do in a very short period of time. Now you have two ways - either to accept the credit card offer or refuse it. You can also search for similar credit card offers at our site.

i wold like to verify my balance of my credict card ,but i dont know how to do it.
thank you
You should call your bank or go to its official web-site and look up the way to check your balance. Usually banks send statements containing detailed invoice, or provide online access to your balance. The second way is much better, as in this case you can make payments online, you can look at your account any time you want and it is more secure than receiving imformation by mail.
Some credit card companies provide automated online service, so you enter the number of you credit card and they tell you your balance. you can also go and check your balance at ATM.
