No More Late Fees on Your Credit Card Offers

12:00:00 AM Friday, September 14, 2007 No More Late Fees on Your Credit Card Offers

Description Find out how to avoid huge late fees on your credit card offers and you will never have to pay them again! Don't let late fees make a hole in your pocket.

I think everyone simply hates to pay late fees on credit card offers, but almost everyone have done it al least once. I bet they made a big hole in your pocket, didn't they? Late credit cards fees can cost you as much as 50$!

Did you know that there are many ways to avoid them? Above I will mention some pieces of advice that will help to avoid late credit card fees and to save a lot of money.

  • Make the minimum payment immediately

Right after you receive your credit card bill, send the minimum payment. Your creditor will receive it and later on you will be able to decide if you want to pay more. Since your credit card company will receive at least a small sum of money, you won't be charged with a late fee.

  • Move your due date

Most credit card companies will let you set your own due date on credit card deals. So if you have problems saving money, set your due date on a pay day. Then you won't have problems paying credit card bills as you will always have cash that day.

That's what I do. I think it is very comfortable way for paying my bills. I get my pay check and the same day I pay my bills. Sometimes it feels kind of bad, because the pay check seems to be so little after paying all the bills, but I always take it easy. This is a reality.

  • Pay using phone

If you are a person who likes to do everything in the last minute-make your payments by phone. Many credit card companies allow paying by phone if you forgot to send your credit card payment on time. Sometimes you will be charged from 5$ to 20$ for this service.

  • Use express services

If your bank doesn't offer a 'pay by phone' service, use other express services like Western Union or Express Mail. Make sure you send your payments to the right address! These services are expensive, but will sure cost you less than a late credit card fee.

My friend Dan often uses express mail services to pay his credit card bills. He is so absent minded that he always remembers about his bills almost on the last day! Once he was busy working and during the dinner time he finally remembered about his due date. So in a rush he messed up the creditor's address. As a result he spent money for express delivery and paid a rather big sum for a late fee. After that case, he always tries his best to be attentive with addresses!

  • Skip the payment

There is a special service called Skip-A-Payment that can also help you to avoid late fees. With its help you can simply skip your credit card payment! But first you have to contact your bank and see if you are qualified to use this service.

There are also some independent companies, which will let you skip, no matter what is your bank. If you have chosen this way, see how much these companies will charge and then decide if it is worth paying them.

  • Simply pay your bills on time!

This is the best, the fastest and safest way to avoid late fees on your credit card offers. Follow your payment guidness with all accuracy! Every month send a check or a money order to your credit card company. Don't put the bill aside! Don't forget about it!

Try your best to pay the bill right after you get it, then all your problems will be solved and you will never have to pay late fees again.

Personally I never have to pay late fees. I can undestand when people have problems with money and that's why they cannot pay their bills... But when they simply forget to pay their credit card bills!... No it'is beyond my comprehension!

Best Credit Card Rewards 05:15:42 AM Thursday, November 06, 2008

Banks and card companies cut their lending risk factor by either lowering credit limits, increasing APRs on some credit cards or by not approving applications at all. The slumping economy and credit crisis force lenders to curtail 0% APR offers, benefits and even rewards programs. Some card offers have already imposed restrictions on when and how rewards can be redeemed.
The good news is that there are still plenty of deals offering lucrative cash back, gas and miles rewards and you only need to apply for the right card now. The difficulty here is the rewards vary from card to card and to make the best deal, you need to compare offers and choose one based on your spending priorities and financial standing. The key is to make the rewards work for you.

Credit Card Payment 04:56:31 AM Thursday, October 16, 2008

Most of regular unsecured credit card offers for valuable customers carry in-built benefits which are free from additional charge. The benefits include $0 fraud liability, extended warranty protection, 24-hour roadside assistance, auto rental insurance, free online account access and management services and others. Their cost is already distributed among the annual fees, if any; interest rates and other charges specified in the fine print and you do not mark it out making credit card payments.
But on receiving a statement, you might be confused to spot there a charge you did not authorize in fact. The charge, labelled as payment protector premium, is designed to cover you in the event you cannot pay bills for some reason.

Card Charges 06:14:29 AM Thursday, October 02, 2008

While a whole range of charges associated with credit card use is not a surprise any more, the way they are sometimes applied may confuse a not too knowledgeable consumer. What hurts most is the consequence which might come up to a damaged budget at best and ruined credit at worst. The fine print is a great source of information on all the charges and terms they are applied under, but one needs to be financially educated to understand a point there.
If you're looking for a proper card offer right now, or you're already holding a plastic, the following information will be of prime importance for you, especially as the recent changes in the market require new and more rational behavior.
